I felt compelled to write an additional review so that anyone considering bringing their vehicle to Berge VW for service can feel confident that from the Service Manager on down, Berge VW will do right by their customers. No doubt repairs can be costly and despite how well these cars are engineered, issues will arise. Hopefully it falls under warranty but when it doesn't and it would appear to be a legitimate manufacturer flaw, you would want the manufacturer to accept responsibility. Disclaimer: A person not liking the cost of repairs does not make a legitimate manufacturing flaw. You want your service department to guide you and advocate on your behalf and push for what is a fair resolution. That is exactly what Berge Volkswagen has done. Bob Herbold is my longtime service advisor and Bob has always been clear and concise when explaining repair issues. He has given me piece of mind when I bring my car in for service. Vince Medina, the service manager, was diligent in his follow up to ensure that any issue I may have had was resolved to our satisfaction. These are stand up gentlemen and it is a pleasure to call Berge Volkswagen my hometown VW dealership.
Their VW service staff is phenomenal. Bob always does a great job and goes the extra mile. Been working with Bob for a couple of years and I will keep coming back.
I have never in my life been to a dealership and it literally didn't take all day. We got there late and Bob Weaver helped us with finding the vehicle we could not live with out :)! He was very friendly and pleasant to work with. The process was so fast we were done and going home with our new volkswagon atlas within 3 hours. Took a little longer in finance with Taylor Stephens because we were just shooting the bull and talking while he was working on all the paper work. he was such a nice young man.
Had several major problems with my car and took it in. Bob Herbold was my Service Manager and I have to say, he is fantastic. Bob kept me updated on a regular basis, told me what they found, what needs to be done and cost of everything if it wasn't under warranty (luckily, most of it was). Since I had several problems at the same time, Bob made sure I had a loaner car so that I could continue on with life as a working mom and not have to worry about anything. If you have to take your car in for service and you don't have a Service Manager, I would highly recommend asking for Bob H.
